Medical News Today: How does alcohol affect rheumatoid arthritis?
Drinking a moderate amount of alcohol is generally safe for people with rheumatoid arthritis (RA), and it may even offer some benefits. However, alcohol can interfere with some RA medications, and heavy drinking can lead to health problems. We take a look at the research and official guidelines here.
